• 1/2 tablespoon oil with achiote

• 2 1/2 tablespoons salted butter

• tablespoons finely chopped scallions

• 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped

• 1 cup diced potatoes                                                                                        

• 1/2 liter water

• 1 sachet Maggie's Chicken Noodle Soup

• 1/2 liter La Lechera semi-skimmed milk

• 1/2 cup grated queso fresco

• 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped for serving

 

 

Preparation:

1.Place the butter in a large pot and heat it over medium heat, once the butter is hot, brown the onion, garlic and potatoes

 

Cook

2.Increase the water, La Lecherar Semi-skim Milk and dissolve the sachet of MAGGIr Chicken Noodle Soup Cook until the potatoes are almost done

 

 

Increase cheese

            

3.At that point of the potatoes, add the cheese and cook until the potatoes are ready. Serve with some extra cheese and chopped cilantro
